Acme Invests in 2 Large CNC Lathes

Acme is committed to meeting the present and future needs of our customers by continuously investing in technology and assets.  We have aggressively invested in many new CNC machine tools over the years.  Most recently Acme added 2 new large CNC shaft lathes with capabilities of turning pieces 38.5” in diameter and 314” in length.  Both machines have the ability to be programmed by GibbsCAM and the larger machine is equipped with live tooling.  Installation and training have been completed and machine time is currently being booked.

Acme Acquires Additional Facility

Company adds 100,000 sq. ft. of Industrial Space

Over this past year Acme acquired an adjacent property with nearly 6 acres and 100,000 sq. ft. of Industrial space. Renovations have been completed allowing for immediate use. Acme plans to use this additional facility to expand manufacturing operation, warehouse WIP and finished pieces. Space has also been allocated for special customer projects and inventory. Acme’s main facilities are now all on one campus with approximately 20 acres and 160,000 sq. ft.
